Powerwashing the rough stone deck

“I had a good day with BIGSLIDER™ yesterday. I had to pressure wash my back deck. . . I have a ruptured disk and several other less significant back problems. I am not letting them slow me down. I moved about 20 flowerpots weighing from a few pounds to over 100 lbs. I slipped BIGSLIDER™ up to them and either slid them onto it or, in the case of the big boy, tilted it and slid BIGSLIDER™ underneath. All very helpful. I was dragging these things over a rough stone deck.”

RISD Rhode Island School of Design

First year Rhode Island School of Design Architecture students test their knowledge of concrete in Professor Jim Barnes Materials & Methods course. Students designed and cast a variety of objects with one cubic foot of concrete. BIGSLIDER™, pictured above, allowed students to easily maneuver their 150 pound objects easily around the job site.

Moving logs from the mud up a rough slope

"We had trees downed in hurricane Rita that we'd cut up in fire wood length, and they were laying in a boggy area. I'd started carrying the 5- to 100-pound logs uphill to the trailer by hand for about 30 minutes, and my wife reminded me to use BIGSLIDER™.

My productivity went up at least by a factor of four or more.

I would dig the logs out of the mud roll them on BIGSLIDER™, and my wife would pull them up to the trailer for me to load later.

BIGSLIDER™ worked great in the mud and rough slope where we couldn't use a wheelbarrow or place the trailer any closer. We effectively loaded an 8 x 16 foot trailer with approximately 3 tons of fire wood.

I had always heard "He who cuts wood is warmed twice over." Now I can say he who cuts wood, hauls & loads, and burns it is warmed three times over. I use BIGSLIDER™ for various jobs and it is always handy in my toolbox.

A big thanks to BIGSLIDER™.”

Tale of the Grecian Urn

"The lawn service moved a very large Grecian urn in my garden, but they left it in an awkward place, where no one could appreciate looking at it from inside. I wouldn't be home when they came back, so I wheeled the pot on to bigslider by myself. Rather than pull by the handle, I left bigslider stationary and slid the pot across it and back into the perfect spot. I did that so the loose river rock where the pot sat didn't get messed up. A few weeks later, I hurt my back lifting a heavy box - can’t believe I forgot to use bigslider!"

Are DVDs heavy or what?

“Just wanted to drop you a note at Bigslider, to let you know how I made easy work of several heavy, heavy boxes filled with DVDs! Each box was full, and weighed approximately 90lbs each.

Initially, I began carrying each box the old fashioned way: bending over, lifting, and walking it to it's final spot. I then realized that I had a perfect tool for the job: My New Bigslider. I simply slid the bigslider under the two stacks of boxes- that was 4 full 90lb boxes- and slid the whole stack to the back room. Simple, smart and efficient, and easy on my back!”

How BASIC BIGSLIDER™ was born

One customer preferred to thread the rope through an extension handle, then through the tail holes, and knot a second extension handle for pulling.

BASIC BIGSLIDER™ was born, with no attached handle, and the extension handles are now in BIGSLIDER™ red, of course!

Major Renovations

I’m a huge gadget freak, doing a search on the net for tools and came across an article in Popular Mechanics that mentioned it. Currently I’m doing major renovations at my home a little at a time and this has been perfect for moving furniture and appliances over and back as I work in certain areas...thanks for a great product. -- A, IL

At the Vet and Animal Hospital

My company bought me the big slider about a year ago. I work in a busy animal hospital, and the big slider is perfect for moving trash out of our clinic. I also use it to move and distribute heavy supplies to different parts of the building. This device can also double as a ground level stretcher for non ambulatory patients. This handy tool simply reduces the amount of friction between your work load and the ground and allows you to slide it to any location easily, and without having to employ a dolly. I can highly recommend this product to anyone who needs to move things quickly and safely. -- ZP, TX

Shred Documents, Move the Trash Bag

"I work at a home office and must shred reams of confidential documents each month. The BIGSLIDER makes this so easy! I just place a rolled-up BIGSLIDER inside a trash bag, which transforms the bag into a free-standing receptable for all the shreddings. I can empty the shredder into the bag without the struggle of having to use one hand to keep the bag open. When the bag is full, the BIGSLIDER easily and cleanly slides out of the bag and I can then just haul the bag (placing it on the BIGSLIDER if it's too heavy to carry!) to the garbage can. I use the BIGSLIDER in the same manner to collect leaves in the yard. In addition, we have found the BIGSLIDER to be useful in hauling heavy objects around the house or from house to car. BIGSLIDER has made many tasks so much easier!" -- MG, FL

Single Woman Moving Heavy Pots and Furniture -- by Herself

I thought you'd be interested to hear one customer's move from desperation (when she ordered) to solution (after she used BIGSLIDER™ utility mover) -- Jeri

The Order:
"Googled 'plant caddy', saw the lady moving the plant on MySpace or You Tube, can't remember which. I live alone and have run out of friends/relatives to help me move a huge plant to shelter during the winter. I SURE hope this works."
[Note: We're on YouTube's bigslider21 channel. J]

The Feedback:
"Thank you for your quick response to my order of the Bigslider. It arrived just in time for me to move from a 5 BR/4bath house to my new lovely patio home.

I used it once to move some boxes...and it did well except I am not sure I am using the correct side. Is the shiny side supposed to be up or down? Placing the label on the shiny side made me think it should be up...but then shiny usually means slippery so I wasn't sure. [Note: Use either side -- both sides are very slick. J]

BTW, I sold some furniture on Ebay before my move....had assistance from a company in town...I asked [the owner] if she had heard of the Bigslider and she said she had one...and loves it. Nice affirmation."
