How-to #14: Easily Clean Kitchen Sinks and Bathroom Lavatories
October 16, 2018 by Jeri Masterson In News
We are finally following up on How-to #2 use Bon Ami with another cleaning product we love: Scrubbing Bubbles®! The tag line was "We work hard so you don't have to!" Ne'er a truer word spoken. We like the citrus fragrance, and the foam gets in to crevices you can't reach. Of course it works great on bathtubs.
And, a pair of fabulous tools for getting in to crevices are the OXO Good Grips® Deep Clean Brush Set. On one brush, the pointy silicon tip is soft but firm for removing soapy gunk in pop-up stoppers, and the brush bristle profile is beveled(!) to get mung out from the rim of undermount lavatories and sinks. The other brush head is angled so -- unlike a toothbrush -- you can really get leverage to push down on it. I prefer blue bristles, but I'm sure the orange ones shown in the link work just fine - haha.
Our final addition to kitchen and bath cleaning tools are our favorite scrubbing sponges: Scotch-Brite® Non-Scratch Scrub Sponges. They also work great on non-stick cookware, china, etc.
